Build a digital reading and flashcard experience that helps users develop a consistent reading habit. The goal was to offer a clean, focused environment supported by streaks, progress tracking, flashcards, and a flexible goal-setting system that encourages long-term engagement.

Process

Conducted quick interviews with readers to understand motivation gaps, reading patterns, and barriers like distractions and lack of progress visibility.
Mapped insights into flows and drafted wireframes centered around minimal friction.

Designed hi-fi prototypes for:

• Streaks & monthly reading heatmap

• Real-time progress indicators

• Personalized reminders

Ran lightweight usability tests with early readers and iterated UI states (empty, loading, error, success).
Delivered a polished MVP with consistent patterns, interactions, and microstates ready for handoff.
