Description
Maintana is a responsive web-based management system designed to help facility service teams monitor inventory, track damaged assets, manage maintenance schedules, and maintain stock movement history in one centralized platform.
The project was created for a facility service business that handles maintenance work for company hardware and building equipment, such as AC units and supporting operational materials. Before Maintana, the team relied on spreadsheets and manual communication to manage stock reports, damage reports, and maintenance schedules. This made it harder to track item conditions, monitor stock changes, and follow up on recurring maintenance tasks efficiently.
Maintana was designed to simplify those workflows through a cleaner dashboard, structured data input, actionable reports, and maintenance reminders that support day-to-day operational decisions.
Highlights
Inventory Management : The inventory section helps users monitor available stock, item category, quantity, condition, and last update. Users can also update stock and view the history of stock changes, making it easier to track material usage over time.
Damage Report : The damage report feature is designed to document asset problems clearly. Each report includes item details, damage description, date, status, and possible follow-up actions. This helps the team avoid missed reports and improve repair tracking.
Maintenance Schedule : The schedule feature helps users manage recurring maintenance activities. It includes maintenance dates, asset information, schedule status, and reminders before the maintenance due date.
Dashboard Overview : The dashboard gives users a quick operational snapshot, helping them identify urgent issues, low stock items, and upcoming maintenance tasks.
Notification & Reminder : Maintana includes reminder logic to help teams prepare for scheduled maintenance and stock-related actions. This supports a more proactive maintenance workflow.
Challenges & Solutions
Inventory stock was difficult to monitor consistently.
Damage reports were not always easy to follow up.
Maintenance schedules needed reminders before the due date.
Stock updates needed a clear history to track changes over time.
The interface needed to work well for both office users and field technicians.
